What can you expect from hypnosis?
Most clients who come in for hypnosis the first time simply do not know what to expect. Knowing what hypnosis is and is not and how it works will help you to feel comfortable and confident even during your first session.
Hypnosis is a fast and effective way to address subconscious habits and patterns that you have developed over your lifetime. Hypnosis allows you to change negative embedded habits to make real life changes physically, mentally and emotionally.
Hypnosis is not sleep. Hypnosis is simply put a relaxed state of body and mind. The feeling of hypnosis in it's most basic form is a complete feeling of relaxation. When your mind is relaxed it allows us to tap into subconscious patterns and make permanent changes
What You Get
Customized sessions based on your unique needs and individuality. Short term process with long lasting and even permanent effects. Freedom from long seated negative thinking patterns and behaviors.
How Hypnosis Works
Hypnosis works by altering our state of consciousness in such a way that the analytical left-hand side of the brain is turned off, while the non-analytical right-hand side is made more alert. The conscious control of the mind is inhibited, and the subconscious mind awoken. Since the subconscious mind is a deeper-seated, more instinctive force than the conscious mind, this is the part which has to change for the patient's behavior and physical state to alter.
For example, a patient who consciously wants to overcome their fear of spiders may try everything they consciously can to do it, but will still fail as long as their subconscious mind retains this terror and prevents the patient from succeeding. Progress can only be made by reprogramming the subconscious so that deep-seated instincts and beliefs are abolished or altered.

Many clients have been successfully reimbursed by their Health Insurance Providers or their Health Savings Accounts. Most Hypnotherapists do not bill insurance. I can provide whatever paperwork you may need if you want to submit a claim yourself. Your insurance company may cover my services as an out-of-network provider.
You may have a better chance of being reimbursed by your insurance provider if you have a Doctor’s referral with a diagnosis code and see a Hypnotherapist that is also a Licensed Counselor (which I am). I cannot guarantee reimbursement, so please check with your insurance provider ahead of time.
